Architecturebureau
The bureau was founded by Kevin Patrick McClellan in 2000 with the intent on exploring complex systems and their material effects on form. The bureau has designed and built work in California, Texas and the UK. Ranging in scale from small conceptual objects, furniture and installations to residential and commercial construction, the bureau is a design office that at its core is experimental.

Kevin's undergraduate education is in both Painting and Installation Art from the University of Texas additional to an Environmental Design degree from Texas A+M. His post-graduate degree was taken in London at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. After receiving his Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from the AA's Design Research Laboratory with a Project Distinction in 2005, he subsequently worked in New York for Kevin Kennon - leading the development of a penthouse addition in Tribeca. Afterward in London with Zaha Hadid, he served as Project Architect for two highly publicized temporary installations, one for the Serpentine Gallery titled Lilas and the second for Swarovski Crystal Palace exhibited in the 2008 Milan Furniture Fair. Additionally he directed the Perm Museum XXI entry which placed 3rd in an open international competition. His personal and professional work is published regionally, nationally and internationally. In 2009 Kevin co-founded with Brad Bell and Andrew Vrana TEX-FAB, a design resource intent on strengthening the role of digital design and fabrication within the architectural community in Texas. He has served as a visiting critic at the Architectural Association and the University of Houston. Currently Kevin teaches design studio at the UTSA College of Architecture.
